Contiki Travel's Part 4: St. Goar-> Munich (With a quick stop in Innsbruck)

Germany was never a place I thought I would love as much as I did, especially during the Christmas season. This became more true when we arrived in Munich and the, what seemed like, endless rows of Christmas market stalls lured me in like a January sales to a shopoholic.

After walking up and down the market lanes mesmerized by the blur of white christmas lights, smell of glühwein and the largest real Christmas tree towering above the square,

I headed to Hofbräuhaus, the traditional beer hall, to take part in a good time German style!

When you first walk in you'll enter a great room, where the smell of comfort food fills the air, and the traditional band plays music that if you didn't care for now, you will love by the end of the night.

 I made my way up to the fourth floor, with my new mates, and we sat, drank and enjoyed the entertainment; which came in the form of the band,

 the dancers,

 and the size of the beers!

I opted out of the beer, for a pinot instead. It was a fantastic experience and a must for anyone who visits this beautiful city.

You may also choose to check out the Glockenspiel location in Marienplatz, but don't take up too much of your time waiting for it to go off, explore this unbelievably beautiful city and everything it has to offer!

After a night on the town, we went back to the hotel, so we could get up bright and early to leave for our next destination, but not without making a short stop in Innsbruck, Austria.

Austria is another place I never thought I would love as much as I did, and that's saying a lot, as I was only in one town for four hours, but that's how much of an impact it made on me!

The fresh air, blue skies, beautiful snow capped mountains and gorgeous cobblestone streets were enough to make me fall in love. I would go back and travel around all of Austria in a heart beat.

As we said left Austria for the next country (coming soon), we were graced by the most spectacular views, that would take anyones breath away!
