Pixie Lott Style

When I think of spring, some words come to mind like, new, fresh, and clean. All of these words can also describe clothes; new pieces, fresh trends, clean silhouettes. So when you put them together it basically means it's time for a closet clear out, to make way for new SS15 pieces. Check out my Spring Edit post for a great guide on what's in for Spring.

A new season means new trends and new possibilities, some take this as an opportunity to change up their personal style and take inspiration from new people and places. Someone who has on point style, practically perfect for these upcoming hotter months is Pixie Lott; she pairs patterns and fun colours effortlessly.

3 Ways to Wear Crochet

Look 1

Make the crochet pop, by layering it over an all black base, and amp up the look with a statement clutch, sporting another one of the seasons top trends, fringe.

Look 2

All of these pieces will work for all seasons! The black crochet anchors the bold colours of the jacket and trouser, where the floral tote, which is huge this Spring seen at Valentino, Marni and Fendi, will bring more interest and colour to a super fun look, keep your hair natural and channel your natural beauty.

Look 3

Hot damn! This outfit would be perfect for going out, and it's all about the layering. First, layer your crochet shorts over a pair of tight/spandex shorts; not only will it keep your figure look great, it will add dimension to the outfit giving the crochet a 3D effect. Second, continue mixing and matching sheer and solid pieces with a great off-shoulder crop top, which is huge this season, and a delicate sheer blouse in the same colour; this will add class and elegance. Now go on and hit the town you spring chick.

Lily James Style *Review of Cinderella Movie*

Cinderella was perfection. It will make you want to be a better person, to channel your inner beauty, and reignite the hope of one day finding your own Prince Charming!

Take a look at this dreamy film's trailer.

Growing up we had EVERY, and I mean EVERY, Disney movie on VHS, so Disney was a huge part of my childhood, and with that Cinderella has always stayed with me!
"Have courage and be kind"

This film was the perfect mix of reality and make-belief, just what every fairytale should be. The music played in time to the swaying of the gorgeous gowns, while tugging at your heartstrings making your emotions come through.

The costumes were beyond unbelievable, making the little girl in me squeal with excitement. What I would give to be able to twirl in the blue gown, and no doubt feel like an absolute princess.

The cast fit their parts, like the glass slipper on Cinderella's foot; and Lily James portrayed the most iconic princess perfectly. Her soft facial features, and delicate frame reflected Cinderella's courage and kindness with such ease.

Lily James is also known for her part in Downton Abbey as Lady Rose MacClare; but outside of the characters she plays Lily's style is something special! Effortless, chic, and trendy, if any of those appeal to you, here is how you can get her look!
