Spring is filled with green grass, fresh blossoming flowers, and rejuvenating rain showers.
Summer is the time when we bask in the only heat we get all year, which is cold to all tropic countries, but for us Canadians it's perfect for heading to the beach, camping, and just generally being outside!
Autumn is the greatest time to be in Canada, if you ever visit come in the autumn, you'll be greeted with the most stunning scenery of warm hued topped trees, crisp fresh air and just everywhere you look is breathtakingly beautiful!
And then there's winter, I can't image winter without snow, how else would you go tobogganing, skating on frozen ponds, or snowboarding. Now that I'm older and have traded my sled in for a car, winter has it's highs and lows.
High-everything looks so beautiful when covered in snow
Low-except when you have to go out in -12 degree Celsius weather to clean the snow off your covered car
High-its so beautiful to watch snow delicately descend from the sky
Low-drivng in a snowstorm
None the less, I choose to focus on the positives and make the most of it. So today I decided to challenge the blistering cold weather by wearing a skirt (with tights of course) and lots of layers.
Although I did have to use a shovel, yes a shovel, to clean the numerous inches of snow that had accumulated on top of my car, covering it in a blanket of white fluff; I looked mighty good while doing it.
Here's what I wore today:
