5 Things A Stylist Should Always Carry With Them
1. A small sewing kit, you never know when you'll need to hem, tailor and literally sew someone into a dress.
2. Safety pins, a great alternative to sewing to keep things in place.
3. Band-aids, shoes may be gorgeous, but they can also be killer on the feet, it's important to be prepared incase of blisters.
4. Double-sided tape, this is great to keep things in place, without being seen, and also majorly important for low cut garments, no body wants a nip-slip.
5. A notebook and pen, sometimes ideas come to us at the strangest times and it's always good to be prepared, also it's good to be ready to take notes and make lists of things that need to be done.

What I Wore Today: February 18, 2015
There are few things that can take an outfit to the next level.
Blazers, bold lip colour, statement sunglasses, and a great hat.
Today I went for the latter.
Keeping the lip colour, face, and hair aux natural, I topped my look off with my favourite hat from Zara and off I went!
Here's my completed look!

Mindy Kaling Style
It's Tuesday and that can only mean one thing,
The Mindy Project is on tonight!
There's something about Mindy Kaling that I absolutely love and am constantly in awe of, actually everything about Mindy Kaling I absolutely love and am in awe of.
After reading her book, Is Everyone Hanging Out With Me and Other Concerns, I've come to admire her love of celebrity, fashion, and complete confidence, as well as her ability to make light about her imperfections (which I don't see any of) and make jokes about them!
If you've ever seen The Mindy Project, which I hope you have because it's absolutely fantastic, you'll know that Mindy Lahiri has a wardrobe and fashionista would kill to have! But Mindy Kaling looks incredible everywhere she goes,
Here's how to get one of Mindy's stellar street style looks, enjoy!

Fashion Terms Part 3
1. Watteau Back- The back of a garment in which box pleats are placed at the center back and the fabric released by these pleats falls loosely to the bottom of the garment.
2. Princess Line- A garment style in which the sections of the garment are cut in one from shoulder to hem, with no waistline seam.
3. MinaudiĆØre- A handbag for evening that is made of metal pieces that are often highly ornamented with jewels, worked metal, or other decorative techniques.
4. Basque- The extension below the waistline of a fitted bodice or jacket. Unlike a peplum, which flares out below the waist and is relatively short, basques may be of any length, may be fitted or full, and may be placed in a limited area, such as the back or front, or all around.
5. Gather- Soft folds in the fabric caused by making loose stitches and pulling the thread tight; used for decorative purposes or for decreases the width of the garment.

A Match Made in Heaven ft. Red and Pink
Who said wearing red and pink together couldn't be done!
It's all about the shade you choose to pair together! The trick is to start with either the lightest colour(pink) and add hues that are a shade darker, or start with the darkest colour(deep maroon) and add hues that gradually get a tint lighter. If you work colours within the same spectrum of colours will go great together, and that doesn't just mean for red based colours, try it with blues(baby, navy and midnight), or blacks(black, grey and white).
Here are some examples of how you can wear, and pull off, red and pink together! Just in times for valentines day!

What I Wore Today: February 12, 2015
Today diamonds fell from the sky.
Well perhaps they were snowflakes, but everywhere you looked today, the sky the ground, everywhere was sparkling. It was like a big balloon full of glitter popped, and did what glitter does best, sticks to everything! I don't mind the extra sparkle one bit, it's like an instant mood booster!
Today's outfit, is much like the diamond-in fact it had some diamonds in it-as it's classic and never goes out of style. The black base with a pop of white is my go-to look since it always looks good, and all you have to do is add a statement piece and you're set, like a diamond on a engagement ring!
