When I look at this picture I am amazed. It makes me feel something. It makes me think about the designer, and what inspired him to design this stunning gown. Then, I think about all of the talented seamstress' who work in the atelier that worked tireless hours to make the designers vision a reality. To me this is more than just a dress, it's art.

Paris Street Style

When I walk down the street, bustling with pedestrians, whether I'm in Dublin or Toronto, I don't just see a blur of faces, I see a collage of style. Street Style excites me, it inspires me and it reassures me that the world is full of diversity. It scares me to think of the world being a place where everyone has to be dressed the same. Street style is so fascinating because you get a look into other peoples sense of style and how they choose to express themselves. Next time you walk down the street, don't just look at the scattered skyline, or the the cracked concrete beneath your travelling toes, look at what others around you are wearing, there is no better style inspiration than that.

When I look at this I'm in complete awe. This look actually makes me say "WOW". I can't help but think about the stylist that created this look, and how their genius mind must work, to pull all of these pieces separately and having a vision that they would all work together. Fashion is not basic, it has soo many dimensions.

Who's more passionate about fashion than Miranda Priestly? 

To me fashion is so much more then clothes, it's a community full of passionate, creative souls all wanting to contribute their artistic views and ideas, to inspire the world to embrace their inner fashionista.

Use your sense of style to express how you feel each day, or to portray a certain message, like Kenzo did (pictured above) by using their Spring/Summer 2014 collection to get the issue of over fishing out there. Fashion truly is more than just clothes, hopefully this gave you some food for thought, or if you're obsessed with fashion like me you could relate with what I was trying to say.
